Physical Therapy Costa Mesa

When the body has been through a period of stress, creating pain, stiffness and limited mobility or range of motion, physical therapy can be the very key to getting back on track. At Newport Medical & Wellness, we place a high priority on each client’s issues, goals and desires rather than a cookie cutter approach to wellness; we believe a tailored approach is always the best approach.

As such, we have some of the most satisfied clients in Southern California, all of whom are amazed at the levels of health, mobility and comfort they’ve reached through our physical therapy program. Our therapists are known for collaborating closely with patients in the Costa Mesa area to rehabilitate the body back to a state of health and vigor never thought possible before they entered our doors.

What Does Physical Therapy Entail?

physical therapy costa mesaWe offer everything from spine rehabilitation, management of pain, movement dysfunction corrections, and manual therapy techniques (like myofascial and neurofascial release, neural flow optimization and nerve flossing) to sports enhancement, weight management, and rehabilitation of sports injuries, orthopedic operations and neurological damage.

More broadly, we also have a series of personal training programs and classes focused solely on physical wellness, all geared toward promoting good health, a longer life, the prevention of disease and injury, and greater strength, balance and overall coordination.

We customize our private and semi-private wellness training to our patients’ specific individual cases, focusing on each one’s goals and expectations. Our clients may be people who are recovering from acute injuries, those who are interested in training for longevity, and who are undergoing other medical treatments and need help maintaining their strength and endurance.

How Does Physical Therapy Work?

Usually rendered in tandem with nerve flossing techniques, physical/massage manipulation, and strength conditioning in combination to return the body to a state of wellness, physical therapy helps to resolve a number of issues. We address everything from severe burns, brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes and cardiovascular disease to post-surgical orthopedic conditions, pain management issues, sports injury, and neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Group and Private Sessions

If you don’t require private sessions, you might be interested in our small group exercise classes.  They’re led by highly educated and experienced instructors and therapists. They ensure correct form and help to prevent injury as they motivate clients to continually improve throughout their program(s).  Specifically our three therapeutic Long Spine Method classes, all of which were developed by our own Rachel LaLonde were created to help clients alleviate pain, move properly, lose weight, sculpt their bodies with especially defined abdominals, and reduce the incidence of future physical issues.

Call our front office staff to inquire about the specifics of our very competitive pricing on group and private classes.
